Miller Outcalt:
Moving in close with a macro lens provides an entirely different view of an otherwise uninteresting subject. These images are of rocks, trees and other objects which give an "Abstract" effect when taken up close. The color is natural and the special colors are due to the light at the time of the exposure. All images were taken with 35mm cameras and Fuji Velvia color slide film. No filters! Films were developed by Carmel Camera Center. Prints were processed on special Fuji paper by Fry Photographic Lab of Monterey. Photography, mounting and framing by the photographer. Contact the artist for quotes on prints.
Miller Outcalt is a resident of Carmel, retired from ownership (with his wife Bunny) of a national photographic distribution business.
